• Eligibility
  
• • Assistant Professors/Lecturers and Research Scholars who are engaged in teaching–learning of Hindi (Language/Literature/
  Linguistics - preferably Government or Government Aided / Autonomous Institutions) at Universities across India.
• • Basic English communication skills are necessary.
• • Preference will be given to the participants who have higher degree in Linguistics/Language Sciences and have already gone through NTS-I’s 5-day Basic Training cum Workshop in Testing and Evaluation for Hindi Language.
• System Requirements
  
• • Desktop/Laptop in good working condition with minimum specification (Core 2 deo processor with 4 GB RAM OS windows XP, 7 & above etc.)
• • Stable Internet Connection.
• • Unicode enabled Desktop/Laptop with browsers like Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, etc. The use of latest version of such browsers is highly recommended.
• Objectives
  
• • To mark third year of successful implementation of the NEP-2020.
• • To create nationwide consensus and awareness about the scientific method of testing and evaluation among the
  stakeholders.
• • To Enhance the professional skills of practicing teachers and would be teachers in the area of Language, Literature and Linguistics.
• Compensation
  
• • All the successful participants will be entitled to receive Rs 4,500.00 (Four Thousand five hundred only) as token Honorarium. To become eligible for the Honorarium, the participants need to input the fixed minimum no. of valid question items everyday and till the end of Marathon.
• • All the successful participants will receive a certificate of participation.
• • Winner (one for each language) will be based on the valid question unique items entered by the participants in the distributed heads fulfilling the parameters and benchmarks. In addition to the normal compensation, the winner will be awarded with the following : –

• • A fully paid (Accommodation, TA with fixed Honorarium (approx INR 20-25K/month) non-extendable work opportunity with NTS-I upto 2 months.
• Terms and conditions
  
• • To be eligible to receive the Honorarium, it is MANDATORY for the shortlisted participants to send the HARDCOPY of the duly filled-in and signed Honorarium Receipts, alongwith a photocopy of PAN and Aadhar Card by Speed/Registered Post as soon as possible. Honorarium will be subject to ITR deduction.
• • Postal address and softcopies of the Honorarium Receipt & Bank Format will be uploaded along with the selection list on 25.08.2023.
• • Wherever applicable, the participants should produce the Scanned copy of participation certificate issued by NTS-I as proof of their attending of Basic Training Program in Testing and Evaluation.
• • The minimum 20 valid questions items shall be inputted everyday without fail. If a participant will input less than 20 question items in a single day, she/he will be disqualified from the Marathon. (The day will be calculated from 12:00AM to 11:59PM). And they will not be eligible any honorarium or reward.
• • Inputted Questions should not be copied from any Question bank, Guide book, etc.
• • While a participant can input question item at any point of time, technical/academic assistance will be available only during office hours i.e. 09:30AM to 5:30PM and working days (Monday to Friday).
• • The required training with detailed guidelines will be provided on the first/second day of the Marathon.
• • Faculty members/officers from CIIL and its centers may also apply for the same; however, they will not be entitled to receive any honorarium for the work. Other terms and conditions will remain the same.

• Who can participate?
  Assistant Professors and Research Scholars who are engaged in teaching of Hindi (Language & Literature) in recognized Colleges (Preferably Government or Government Aided / Autonomous Institutions) and at universities across India are eligible to participate in this training programme.
• Important Note :
  
• • Those who are willing to attend the training cum workshop should get official deputation from their College / Department for the period of training programme at CIIL, NTS-I, Mysuru (5 days).
• • The candidates who already attended the workshop in past will not be considered.
• • The list of selected candidates will be uploaded in the website on 07.07.2023(Before 5:30 PM)
• • The Institute reserves the right to accept or reject any of the applications received without assigning any reason.
• Purpose
  The purpose of the programme is to provide the stakeholders with the training in the area of testing and evaluation so that stakeholders themselves can identify the defects in the syllabus, textbooks, methods of teaching, etc., and can make appropriate modifications/changes and thereby making the teaching learning process more effective.
• Compensation
  The participants will be paid TA (Sleeper Class / 3rd AC / Bus Fare) as per the institute rules preferably in their bank accounts within 15 days after the completion of the programme. A simple vegetarian Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner will be provided during the programme.Full attendance and active participation in the programme is essential to become eligible for compensation of any kind (i.e., TA and Honorarium).
• Accommodation
  Accommodation will be provided for outstation participants at concessional rates in the SRLC Hostel, given availabillity. It is requested that the participants should carry their own bedsheet, blanket, mosquito coil, toiletries, etc. NTS-I will not make any arrangement for accompanying spouse / family members / friends at any cost.
